Investigative Question or Issue: Learning about the
history of Peru -- how can you tell the story so that other primary age
children can understand?
Challenge:
After
learning the history of Peru as related in the song "Here's to You"
children will simplify in their own words. This text will be
added to children's illustrations to create a book-Peru, the story of
our Town. Dan Berggren will be joining us for the sharing session with
parents as we are using his songs "Here's to You" and "A Lumbering
we'll go". He will be a part of the day, working with the class
in the morning and being a part of the sharing in the afternoon.
